How to Check a Stock Price on Google Finance.
Open the any Browser: Go to your web browser and search for "Google Finance". Click on the first link to open the page.
Find a company: In the search bar, type in the name or ticker symbol of the company you want to check.
Check the price and change: The current price per share will be displayed prominently at the top.
Next to the price, you'll see a number and a green upward arrow (price went up today) or a red downward arrow (price went down today).
The percentage number next to the arrow shows you the exact percentage the price has changed for the day.
Analyze the chart: Below the main price, you'll see a price chart.
You can select different timeframes above the chart, such as 1 Day, 5 Day, 1 Month, 1 Year, etc., to see how the price has changed over that period.
The left side of the chart shows the price range (from the lowest to the highest price in that period).
The bottom of the chart shows the time (when the period started and when it ended).
This chart gives you a quick visual of the company's price history.
