The 2025 Nobel Prize Winners Announced: Congratulation for miss María Corina Machado of Venezuelan. The Norwegian Nobel Committee praised Machado as "one of the most extraordinary examples of civilian courage in Latin America in recent times" for her leadership in Venezuela's pro-democracy movement. 

Awarded: For her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela and for her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy.

US President Donald Trump: was among the nominees for the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize but did not receive the award, despite his public campaign for the honor. However, the eventual laureate, María Corina Machado, has thanked President Trump for his decisive support. President Trump was a strong contender for the award, having asserted that he put significant effort into stopping conflicts in seven countries. He reportedly missed receiving the prize this year because his official nomination petition was filed after the January 31, 2025 deadline. His nomination remains in consideration for the next award cycle in October 2026. We wish him good luck.

Story Behind Noble Price: Dynamite researcher Alfred Noble in year 1895 was started. His research on Dynamite was suppose to be used for to build tunnel or canals construction. However it got adopted for military use, leading to his vast fortune. So he was named with The "Merchant of Death". 

The Mistake: In 1888, a French newspaper mistakenly printed an obituary for Alfred Nobel when his older brother, Ludvig, had actually died.

The Shocking Headline: Alfred was horrified to read that he was remembered by the press as a "merchant of death"—a person who "became rich by finding a way to kill more people faster than ever before."

Alfred Nobel vowed to leave a different impression on the world. He decided to dedicate his immense fortune to honor those who contributed to the "greatest benefit to humankind."
